Tottori

Tottori is located in the Chubu region and faces the Sea of Japan. The most popular destination is Tottori Sand Dunes. The dunes expand about 10 miles of the coast and can be up to 1 mile wide and 164 feet high. They have been created over thousands of years by the nearby Semdaigawa River. Daisen is another popular destination. It’s a large volcanic mountain and is 5672 feet high. Tottori offers many traditional dishes, including persimmon leaf wrap sushi, such as carb miso soup, sardine ball soup, etc. The Capital is Tottori City.
