Aichi is located in the Chubu Region. This prefecture is known as the home of some major global companies like Toyota Motors, Brother, and Noritake. It will also be the home of Studio Ghibli's theme park in 2022. While you see modern Japan, you find old Japan in Inuyama. Inuyama Castle is a National Treasure and is one of 12 original castles. It was built in 1537 and is the oldest castle remaining in the nation. Aichi offers unique dishes, such as freshwater eel rice bowl, miso noodles, kishimen noodles, miso katsu, and many more. The Capital is Nagoya.
